A professional conversation about a changing field

Our firm participated in the Duns 100 gathering of practitioners in tort litigation and medical negligence. In our original update, we highlighted the value of meeting colleagues, exchanging perspectives and examining developments affecting the handling of complex claims.

The discussions covered tort claims against the State involving victims of hostile acts and survivors of the Nova festival, alongside the impact of artificial intelligence on litigation and the tools available to support legal decision-making.

Innovation with professional judgment

For a practice representing insurers, the introduction of new technology raises practical questions about the quality of information, the reliability of analysis and the decisions that remain the responsibility of lawyers. Our update emphasised responsible adoption of innovation while maintaining fairness and attention to the people behind each file.

Professional gatherings provide an opportunity to examine those questions with others working in the field. The photographs below are from the firm’s original post.
